Fell off the wagon for a bit but I’m back at it! Clearing my schedule for two-a-day workouts (lifting x cardio) every weekend for the next month with some SoulCycle thrown in there for good measure. I’m also experimenting with a new diet regiment—I’ll spare everyone the details but if you see me around cheating with junk food, you can go ahead and smack me across the face.
Bonus update: After consulting with my close friends and family, I finally decided to register to get certified as a personal trainer. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while now and I recently came to the conclusion that life’s just too short to be bored or unfulfilled. I love my day job and all, but there’s something about being certified to be a positive force in people’s lives that is far more exciting and interesting than anything else I can think of. Looking forward to burying my nose in exercise physiology for the next 6 months, and more photos of my scantily clothed-self! To #progress! 🍻
Ichiro hit a big home run tonight and received this priceless reaction from Derek Jeter.

“Compound interest is one of the most powerful forces on earth. Use it.”
Time is going to pass whether you workout or not. So why not use it to your advantage? Even a moderate amount of hard work regularly will set you miles apart from your peers that don’t work at all. Then amplify that by weeks, months, even years and—trust me—you won’t be peers anymore.
So the real question is, in six months do you want to be the same person you are today, or do you want to be somebody better?
